Any Way to Compile a List of Files Imported by Reference?

Hello,

I'm a new FrameMaker user.

We have some documents with images imported by reference. They have no
captions. In fact, they started life as PowerPoint Slides and were
converted into gifs using as file name the SlideID property of the slides.

So when I right-click on the imported image and select Object Properties
in the popup menu, it says at the bottom of the window that appears
something like:

Referenced File:
Screens\ScreenTRN\355.gif

This is the relative path and name of the referenced file.

We need to compile a list of these referenced file properties for every
image imported by reference, prefereably within a conditional compilation.

Any suggestions, or am I barking up the wrong tree like the ex-MS Wordie
that I am?

Many thanks,

Save the file in MIF format and use a tool like grep to find the references.

Add a List of References to your book file (at the end, so it doesn't
affect pagination, or make a new book just for this purpose) and select
"Imported Graphics" as the specific item to include. This generates a
hyperlinked list of all imported graphics.
