I am developing a new TimeSavers Assistant which supports PDF layers (aka
"Optional Content Groups") and would appreciate your
input/feedback/suggestions.

Using the new Layer Assistant, FrameMaker text can be assigned to specific
layers through its color properties (regular body text) or through hypertext
markers (custom text).
In addition, JPEG images (referenced through hypertext markers) can be
defined as belonging to different layers.

Related hypertext markers define links/bookmarks/page actions which control
layer visibility, including show/hide a specific layer (exclusive or
additive), show/hide all layers, show next/previous layer.

Sample PDFs demonstrating current possibilities are available at
http://www.microtype.com/ShowcaseLayerAsst.html
(Acrobat/Reader 7 required).

Cool Stuff, Thanks for sharing.
Which Framemaker version supports this?

The Q and A was not obvious what to tap to get the data to appear but
once I figure it out it worked perfectly. I can see some value in each
approach for different things. I particularly liked the slide show approach.
