Hi Folks,

I need your help! I have a complex framemaker-file (tables and
conditional text...), which is to be exported to any other format like
rtf or winword.

I thought of exporting conditional text in a coloured way as it may
also be represented in Framemaker, but the colours are not exported :-(
How can I export conditional text in any attributed way?
Another problem is following error message, which occurs when exporting

my doc to winword: "Der Filter hat wegen eines aufgetretenen Fehlers
die Konvertierung abgebrochen" (engl: Filter has stoppped vonversion
due to error).
What may be wrong? Any help is urgently appreciated.
I posted this request already in a different ng, but without reply. I
hope you can help me.

Hoping for answer and thanks in advance
Hubertus

Hello newsgroup,

no resonse from this ng, but I found a solution for my first question,
which I want to share with you in a rough overview:

1) download and install framescript
2) write a script that detect changes of conditional text tags and
insert at the beginning and ending of each tag a certain token, naming
the condition.
3) Write fm-file as rtf or msw
4) postprocess in Winword via Macro etc.

that's it.

Regards
Hubertus
